We originally planned to have lots of applicable discount codes listed here. Like most
people we figured there would actually be some - but this appears mostly not to be the case. It
seems the camera is too high priced an item to warrant discount codes and most retailers
are limiting their codes to lower priced gear.
We have spent some time searching for VALID discount codes among the many dubious discount code websites
(while most are fine some are just traps for infecting the unsuspecting with viruses or trying to con you into buying something you
don't want. This is not surprising in the current economic climate). We have found no codes that were valid apart from the above. If this changes we will add them to this page but for now we simply
do not believe anyone is offering discount on this camera. If you find out different and want to help

DANGER! As far as we know all the above retailers are reputable. If you have
any problems with them let us know
and we'll consider removing them from our list. We only work with retailers we KNOW will deliver service. We have
had reports of certain retailers who offer this camera at a price a couple of hundred
below the averages listed here. Usually delivery is then on the never never and it's permanantly
out of stock. It would seem these retailers take the money and then try and find a cheaper source
keeping you waiting while your money earns interest in their bank accounts. We cannot
list names here as we want to remain on good terms with everyone... but BUYER BEWARE! IF it looks
too good to be true it probably is. If you must buy from these people ring and make them promise
it's in stock and will be dispatched immediately!
Our comparison list below DOES NOT CHECK STOCK LEVELS. It can't do as we are not the retailer.
We have received emails from some frustrated shoppers commenting on this and really we
would like to but we can't do it ALL for you. There is a point to displaying prices
when out of stock since pre-ordering from such retailers may get you a better deal as they
are sensitive about being out of stock and so will try and lure you to pre-ordering. Some
people may not be in a hurry to get the camera and like this. Others meanwhile want the camera
NOW and get annoyed if there is no stock. To those people all we can say is sorry
but you will have to do some of your own research. Click on each link to check stock... it's not that
hard really.
